Story
Our Story
It all started with a vision of a large dinner table that could be used for more than just meals – it could also be a place for family and friends to gather and play games, with the added bonus of having fresh vegetables growing right in the center of the table. But we quickly realized that such a table would be too large for a first product.
So, we scaled down the idea and created our first product – a coffee table that embodies the same spirit of family, fun, and fresh produce. We designed it with clean lines and a minimalist style that reflects the Dutch design principles we admire. And we made sure that the table was not only beautiful, but also functional: it can be used to grow herbs and small vegetables.
And that’s how our first product was born – a coffee table that brings together our love of design, nature, and community.

The name ‘Pluk’ comes from the Dutch word for ‘to pick’. We believe that the act of picking your own vegetables and herbs is a powerful reminder of our connection to the earth and the natural world.
Our logo of a hand reaching out to pick a piece from the name represents our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. A commitment to sustainable living and our belief that good design can inspire meaningful change in the world.
